Depending on the requirements of the customer, a freelance HR consultant's duties can vary. The majority of HR consultants may, however, carry out a number of tasks, such as:

 

  • Consulting with clients to identify any HR-related needs or problems.
  • Collaborating with customers to create, amend, and put into effect acceptable HR policies.
  • Evaluating the client's current HR status to ensure that they adhere to local and federal legislation and are in line with industry standards.
  • Reporting to management regarding specific HR programs after conducting data analysis.
  • Verifying the compliance of the client's HR activities.
  • Supplying HR-related training.
