The need of improving a logo design often comes from the aesthetic taste of people, and the marketing strategy of brands in the current era. The continuous change of the design trend in the world makes it impossible for the brand to maintain its logo design for a long period of time. Not to mention the design trend is updating every year. With brands around the world, to not innovate themselves is to move backward in this constantly changing world.

And by being environmentally friendly, together with marketing strategies that help their customers and the communities improve their lives, brands know they are heading in the right direction.

As has been mentioned above, for now, when innovating their logo, big brands tend to make those designs simpler by using fewer colors, and fewer lines, and 3D logos now turn into 2D. Some brands even get rid of the text on the text-and-image-based logos for better display and recognition. A simpler logo with fewer colors and lines is considered friendlier to the environment since it takes fewer materials and resources when printing out posters, billboards, merchandise, etc.
