The four types of singers are:

  1. Soprano: Sopranos are female singers who have a high-pitched voice, usually with a vocal range from middle C to high C or even higher. They often sing lead vocals in choral music, opera, and musical theater.
  2. Alto: Altos are female singers with a lower range than sopranos. They often sing harmony parts in choral music and other vocal ensembles.
  3. Tenor: Tenors are male singers with a high-pitched voice, often with a range from middle C to high G or A. They typically sing lead vocals in choral music, opera, and musical theater.
  4. Bass: Basses are male singers with low-pitched voices. They often provide the foundation for choral music and other vocal ensembles by singing the lowest notes.

It's worth noting that these categories are not exclusive and there are many subcategories and variations within each type of singer. Additionally, there are many other vocal classifications used in different styles of music.
