Level 3 assistance is the top tier of a three-tier system commonly employed by IT and technology organizations, which also includes level 1 and level 2. 

A group of individuals with the highest level of technical experience inside an organization, department, or project team is referred to as Level 3 support. These individuals assist in the resolution of fixing difficult computer hardware or software problems by providing solutions based on their technical knowledge, researches, and troubleshooting abilities. The following are some examples of common level 3 support roles:

  • IT designers;
  • IT developers;
  • Software developers;
  • Network administrators;
  • System engineers;
  • Application developers;
  • Engineers in computer programming;
