Can you write your own testimonial?
A testimonial is a statement made by a prior customer about how a product or service helped them. Businesses frequently produce testimonials based on specific questions posed to satisfied customers. Testimonials can assist you in building trust and credibility with your customers, especially when used to overcome mistrust. They often demonstrate the impact by offering before-and-after comparisons or specific improved data.
With that being said, sellers are not able to write their own testimonials because it would be not be objective and could decrease their credibility. However, they can message their previous customers and ask them for writing testimonials for their product and service.
While studies show that customers believe and even rely on testimonials, this does not imply that they blindly accept anonymous claims of success. The more information you can provide on a testimonial, the more credible and hence trustworthy it becomes. A good testimonial should include the true customer experience, the benefits that client achieve after receiving the product, and the satisfaction the buyer might or might not receive from the seller’s service.
