The difficult part is getting all of those people to put their egos aside, trust one another, and work as a team. This issue, I believe, occurs frequently in most organizations. The surrender of ego allows you to become a part of a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. When I’m a part of the team, a truly cohesive unit working toward a common goal, I can achieve incredible things. And I believe that any achievement is the result of our whole team's efforts. Many of us, in my opinion, are working extremely hard to achieve something in our lives. To do so, we need a strong team to support us, such as a coach for an athlete, a teammate in business, or a business partner. We may believe we can accomplish anything without assistance, but this is not the case. To complete the task, we must collaborate with someone.

Despite the fact that teams face increasingly complex challenges, the essentials that set the tone for successful teamwork are trust, collaboration, hard work, appreciation, purpose, agility, and creativity.
