Let me give you a piece of history on this magical city first. Art Deco is a typical modern Miami home design that was first introduced to the US in the 1920s after the 1925 Paris Exposition and has been popular ever since.
Art Deco plays an indispensable role in Miami home style and is described as a cross between modern and neoclassical, thus expressing the beauty of both traditional and classical cultures. Art Deco is expressed through the unique color scheme and liberality typical of Miami, and is often found in hotels as well as residential design.
In Miami, “Art Deco” is not only an architectural style but also an attribute from the concept of a vibrant, busy, and kind of bustling life with the colors of a tropical resort paradise.

Neoclassical style emphasizes elegance and sophistication, simplicity but not too ordinary, and is inspired by countries like Greece and Rome. This Miami home style is often used to design buildings and classical architecture, but mixed with the breath of the current era.
Neoclassical architecture is based on the principles of simplicity, symmetry and mathematics, which were qualities of art in ancient Greece and Rome. Neoclassical interior style has become very popular for its timeless elegance. It is not only a unique architectural style in Miami house design to be admired and preserved, but also an elegant yet unpretentious way of life of the people in this magic city.
The characteristics of Neoclassical lie in colors, furniture and decorations. The colors used are mostly in light tones with black, red, gold and silver accents. The featured furniture is mostly made of wood. The fabrics used to sew curtains and tablecloths exude a simple, luxurious yet unobtrusive look. Marble floors are often used with high-class carpets from Persia. The decorations are many ceramic vases, delicately colored crockery. In addition, large mirrors, decorative flowers, and artworks adorn the walls and ceiling.
Neoclassical architecture came to the United States in 1893. Since then, it has been used to construct many buildings in Miami, such as the Dade County Courthouse, Brickell Park and Mausoleum, Central Baptist Church, Bank Building, and National City.
